You're right. I heard srs PvP was dying anyway.

I may agree, I may not. Depends on my mood, I love both my War and Sin

Whichever one you want. I have both (just started a 'Sin for fun), they each have their own playstyle and versatility. Both are good for different things in PvE.
If you are going for PvP, roll a Warrior. You'll have more opportunities.

If you are doing PvP get a slot for pvp only chars. For Pve both are viable.

I have to say warriors.
Warriors are great all purpose characters in PvE, and they have great PvP builds. assassisn are very gimmicky on the other hand, and fun to play, but in the end, I believe that warriors are the best choice.

I don't understand the point of this. Personally i make a PvE character and PvP with it so instead of only PvPing if i get bored i can still do something with it. I can also farm with it and get cool armors without having to get points.

Some people play GW for the PvP content only, just as many people play it only for the PvE content. Also, someone may have more skills unlocked on their account (through Balthazar Faction, Hero Skills, etc.) than they have unlocked on their actual character for a profession. In that case, having an open slot to roll whatever you need for PvP wins.
But yeah, my main, Tiger, does both PvE and PvP. I figured that if he was going to be my main, he would get everything he needed to run any build I needed to run PvE or PvP.
